Jamieson, Connor Drew – 27, of Pugwash, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord and reunited into his grandparent’s arms on February 10, 2024. Connor began his next adventure to his heavenly home as he peacefully passed at the QEII in Halifax. His family had the honour to hold him as he made his journey soaring through the clouds. This adventure will be his most thrilling with the greatest rewards. Connor completed our family circle of four when he arrived into our arms on March 21, 1996, in Amherst. A beautiful son to Steven and Jennifer, a cherished brother to big sister Danielle. The years we shared as a family are nothing more than a blessing. We have had the honour to call Connor “our son”. It’s been a privilege to watch our baby grow into a handsome young man that carried the same energy and enthusiasm for life. Connor never missed an opportunity; he completed a bucket list in 27 years that would seem impossible to accomplish in a lifetime. Connor graduated from PDHS where he formed lasting friendships and met many mentors along the way. He completed his apprentice welding program at the NSCC Pictou Campus in 2018. He was an accomplished welder for Gilson Construction and worked at Irving Shipyards at various locations for over 6 years. He proudly belonged to the Local 56 Union where he formed deep and loyal relationships. Connor’s moto in life was simple, family first, help anyone when they are down, be a loyal friend, work hard and love harder. Connor had an incredible way to light up a room with his presence, that smile and infectious laugh. In memory of Connor please continue to keep his legacy shining brightly by being kind, helping someone in time of trouble, loving hard and bringing a smile to someone’s face and expect nothing in return. Connor is survived by his beloved parents, Steven and Jennifer Jamieson; cherished big sister, Danielle; his family circle of aunts and uncles, Lisa (Gordie) Benjamin, Darlene Pauley, Lynn Jamieson (Danny), Paula Jamieson (Gary), Danny Jamieson (Cheryl), Bonnie Jamieson; cousin group and partners in crime, Justin (Sara), Brittany (Braden), Phillip, Matthew (Katie), Justine (Meryck), Corey, Ashlea (Mark), Hayley, Noah and Nick; special baby cousins, Harmony, Bennett, Elyse, Jack, Lea Ann; chosen grandmother, Vera Stevenson; chosen daughter and apple of his eye, Myah. Connor was predeceased by grandparents, Gerald and Elsie Jamieson, Vaughn and Janet Pauley; special uncle, Earle Pauley and chosen grandfather, Bob Stevenson. We cannot adequately express our gratitude to our family, friends and community for the love we feel during this time. You have made this easier to bear, it will never be forgotten. Visitation will be held from 1 – 4 pm, Saturday, February 17, with the funeral service at 2 pm, Sunday, February 18, both in Mundle’s Funeral Home, Pugwash. Burial at a later date. Family flowers only. In lieu of donations please help a person in need.
