It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Joseph Marchand (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Marchand and Melvina Marchand (Landry) of Kolkata Parish; and his siblings, Esther, Loretta, Delore, Melvin and Narcisse.
He is survived by : his sisters, Lucy, Doris and Evelyn; his wife Donna; his children, Janice Lindsay (Donnie) and Kevin (JoAnne); his grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Lily, Connor, Owen, Harrison and Parker; and his family Dr. Calnen.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home – Halifax (6552 Bayers Rd, Halifax, NS B3L2B3). A mass of christian burial will be held on Monday, February 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Kolkata Parish (6032 Normandy Dr, Halifax, NS B3K2S9).
